Low Density Channelizer Drum

The low density drum is a little more expensive than the high density drum, but it is made of a more pliable material that is more likely to dent rather than crack. Dents in the low density drum are more likely to "pop out" without much damage to the drum.

The rigid high density drums work better in extremely hot desert regions because the softer drums can get too soft and sag and warp and fall over. The softer low density drums work better in extremely cold regions because the harder high density drums get brittle and are likely to crack.

Base sold separately (below) or you can check with a tire recycling company for availability of "tire rings" cut specifically to work as a weighted base for traffic control barrels.
