| The new MUTCD requirements specify the use of "AHEAD" and "ARROW SIGN" under the pedestrian crosswalk signs to designate the crosswalk sign as being either "AHEAD" or at the crosswalk.
"EG" stands for engineer grade reflective. "DG" stands for diamond grade reflective and is a fluorescent yellowish green prismatic sheeting that meets federal highway administration regulations. |
